R+D+i laboratory

Our R+D+i department is continuously developing new pastes and researching new technologies, for which we have a highly-equipped laboratory:

• X-ray spectrometer
• X-ray diffractometer.
• Particle size analyser.
• Stereoscopic microscope.
• Electron sweep microscope.
• UV-Visible spectrophotometer.
• Rheometer.
• Thermogravimetric analysis.
• Heating microscope.
• Dilatometer.

Moreover, since the year 2000, we have developed various projects from the Centre for Industrial Technology Development and we have several agreements with universities and some technological institutions.

Our main lines of action are based on the assessment of new raw materials for use in ceramic pastes, and the development of new ceramic compositions. We are also studying the use of our products in other industrial sectors.

Since the start of the year 2011 we have started a process of change in the traditional production system towards new systems of process organisation and study of methods and times in agreement with our corporate values.
